OUT OF CHARACTER
What do we call you: Josie
Are you older then 16: Nope... I'm 14!
What time zone are you in: Eastern, US
How long have you been rp’ing: 2 Years
Have you read all the rules: Of course! Why would I be posting here if otherwise?
Would you think of yourself as an active person: Yeah, I suppose. I'm on at least once every other day... if I'm busy at home.
You are ok that this site is rated R: Sure. I've been on many rated R places.
Who is your play by (Character model): I have an animal, so... none. He is a cheetah, so I guess any male cheetah would work.
CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Flare Swiftclaw [Flare]
Month/Day of birth: April 23rd
Race: Narnian / Talking Animal / Cheetah
Gender: Male
Appearance: Flare is a handsome young male cheetah who has a very nice build. He had lean muscles that are gracefully proportioned. This makes him a very good runner, even for a cheetah - the fastest land creatures. As for coat color, Flare is just an average wild feline. He has a spotted, ragged coat that Flare grooms often. He has a long tail used for balance when running, and sharp golden eyes that seem as though they can look right through you. His fur sticks up at the neck like a little 'mohawk', as you Sons of Adam call it. But it is the typical marking of any male cheetah. Flare has no battle scars that he can brag about, so he does seem a little plain. He doesn't wear any clothes, so you can scratch that right out of this description.
Martial Status: Single, he's still young.
Family: None that are alive, though I will list them for you.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Likes/Dislikes:As for likes…
Dislikes…
Personality: Well, from what you’ve seen on the lists, Flare is an intelligent and fierce cheetah who likes to stand up for what he believes in. If you’re opposing him, well… may Aslan bless your sorry little heart. Because Flare is one of the fiercest fighters in all of Narnia. This is one cheetah who doesn’t back down from a challenge. He’s extremely stubborn on some subjects, such as loyalty and books. After all, being a cheetah, you sort of have to be prepared for just about anything thrown at you. It’s a survival instinct that most felines have already. Anyways, Flare is actually quite intelligent because of his interest in books and stories. Listening to such things is considered a dangerous way of thinking to most cheetahs, but this is one male who doesn’t really care. Because of his intelligence, he makes a very good fighter.
Another reason why he makes a good fighter is, of course, his loyalty. Flare never wavers from what he strictly believes is the right thing to do. He us also a very good friend because of this quality. He never betrays anyone – not Aslan, not a Son of Adam or a Daughter of Eve, not a single being. Except for, perhaps, his family – but we won’t get into that one. This is a cheetah who sticks up for others, who is fierce in what he says and does. It’s something he never changes on, no matter what. It makes him a very tough and hardy cheetah on the battlefield – a useful private. All in all, Flare is a loyal, fierce, intelligent creature that will serve as a useful tool of the Narnian race.
ROLE PLAY SAMPLE This is from another site, if that’s okay… but it’s the same character…
Ah, what used to be a dull, boring life was now an interesting yet eventless trek through unknown territory. The cheetah stopped for only a brief moment, closing his eyes. The memories of his old home rushed back to him. With his non-talking father and mother, who would growl amonsgt themselves heartily as if that was all they had to do. And their little cub, bouncing around pointlessly as he chased a butterfly that was well beyond his reach. The simplicity of it all. But in reality, he didn't really miss it. Flare was much more honed in on the adventures waiting here in Narnia.
He had to be looking ahead, never behind. An old badger, Kele, had taught him at least that much. As Flare began walking on again, he made his steps more careful and light. He took care not to disturb the ground beneath him. There was no knowing what nymphs or creatures were about underneath his paws today. Flare shook out his fur, a few leaves that had fallen were scattered from his golden spotted coat. Lifting golden eyes to the trees above him, he wondered whether he would ever find another being that could talk back. Kele had been the last creature he had ever been in contact with.
And now Kele was gone and Flare had to make his own way through Narnia. A confusing yet splendid place that he enjoyed in his own strange way. The cheetah took in all the scents again just for the joy of it all. The wooden smell of living trees, their roots draining water beneath the soil. The sweet smell of the green grass swirling beneath his paws. The sharp, chilly scent of the air that made him shiver in cold. Ah, so the rumors were true then. Winter might possibly be settling over Narnia once more. But Flare shook off this grim thought as he pushed on, unknowing as to what possibly lied ahead. There was nothing stopping him from turning back, but he was not the cheetah to flee from what was ahead. No matter how grim, or how frightening, Flare would not turn away.[/size]
