Wild Ruler
This is the ruling stallion his word is always law, he rules over all the herds but if he is not a just ruler he may be killed and his son forced to take on the role of Wild Ruler. If there is not ruler to be picked then the most worthy of all the stallions will be picked within the land of Tenebrae
Lead Stallion
Usually a male and his mate, though there can be a solitary leader; the main responsibility for the leaders is to ensure the order of a herd. They are the leaders, the most respected horses. Their power and strength coexist with their leadership skills, making them the most prized beings to the horse society.
Adviser
The adviser is just as it sounds. They act as a sage, a council for the alphas and betas when times get rough. It is their wisdom and knowledge that sets them above the others in the herd; only falling under the discipline of the leaders. However, when not called on, they normally fall to the role of delta; though they are always prepared to fulfill their duty.
Beta
The betas hold the second-highest rank in a horse herd. Normally a mated pair of horses, though they must gain the leaders permission to breed or else they risk being demoted or worse; the betas are highly respected and act like the peace-keepers. Their main job in the pack is security. They monitor the herd as a whole, patrolling the borders and helping the leaders keep everything under control.
Heir
The heir is usually an leaders foal. It is usually male, but females have been known to be chosen if there are no sons born or if the female shows leadership skills beyond her years. The heir is treated with the same respect as the leader and betas.
Offspring
The foals of the herd. They are normally the children of the leaders, though they can also consist of the betas (or rarely: the deltas) foals. They are allowed to live and play together, despite who their parents are, and are loved by all the herd..
Warriors:
These are the horses that are trained to fight and defend their leaders land as well as the Wild ruler. When in times of battle the herds will get together and a battle ruler will be picked from all the worriers to lead the equine army to help both their own herds and the land of Narnia. Both male and females can be warriors.
