CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Azkatan

Gender: Male
Appearance (*Give at least one paragraph):
Azkatan is a minotaur for starters so "big" is probably the best word to describe him. Standing at a good 6 foot 8 and weighing over 300 pounds Azkatan has black fur long white horns and wears black leather armor. He carries a small armory worth of combat gear including an (his favorite weapon a double hafted war axe, twin scimitars, and a brace of throwing knives.
Martial Status: single.
Family: Minotaurs are generally raised in herds living a communal life. Azkatan was set aside as a warrior from birth and thus didn't know his parents or siblings. He is a warrior, clean cut, and fiercely unquestionably loyal.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Likes/Dislikes:
Likes:
War. Not justice, or righteous war, just war. It's what he was born and bred for, and what he does.
Loyalty.
Family. Despite never having one Azkatan has a love for the family, the four pevensies in particular. Though still a war machine without question the Pevensies have given him something he didn't have before. A heart.
Dislikes:
Weakness.
Peace,
His own herd. Azkatan was cast from his heard at a relatively young age and after being taken in by the Kings and Queens of Narnia has sworn an oath to their service and will never return to his home.
Personality: (*Give at least on paragraph)
As previously stated Azkatan was born and bred to be warrior, pure and simple. Merciless, heartless, and unthinking he excelled in all forms of combat. Excelled too much in fact. His own herd came to hate and fear him and when caught up in combat Azkatan killed his own trainer and was cast from the herd. His oath of loyalty to the kings and Queens of Narnia was at first merely payment for taking him in, but they have taught the Minotaur so much about family, love, loyalty all things he had no understanding or concern for in his previous life.
ROLE PLAY SAMPLE
Stroke, parry, defend, thrust, circle. Repeat. Repeat. This is the life of a Minotaur. Training, working, killing, learning to kill better. Faster, Stronger, always improving always learning never satisfied the list goes on. For what? That is what is different about Azkatan now. Not his skills, no his skills as a warrior are legendary even among his own warlike people. Even as an outcast they still whisper the name of Azkatan around Minotaur fires. For what? is the question that changed Azkatan's life forever. The High King Peter so strong and brave, King Edmund just and wise Susan and Lucy both gentle and kind. They answered that question differently. Perhaps even naively. Justice and right are fine words, noble ideas yes but can they really be? Will it ever happen? That is not for Azkatan to know. It has never been. The burden he has taken is not to bring justice or enforce right. No. He is not wise or magnificent or kind. He knows that, accepts it with a warriors calm clarity and moves on. His place, the "for what" of his life has become simply to protect. To risk all that he has for all that these noble Lords and Ladies can bring. His for what is no longer a question he does what he does to protect, in his own warriors way. He does what he does, out of love.
